CLACKAMAS, Ore. (KOIN) – A 45-year-old man is charged with second-degree animal abuse after intentionally and recklessly caused injury to a dog.
Prosecutors accuse Dennis N. Lambeth of injuring the dog on Tuesday.
The dog’s name is “Porter,” according to court documents.
The Oregonian / OregonLive reports that Lambeth shot his neighbor’s dog with an arrow.
Lambeth was arraigned on Wednesday.
Second-degree animal abuse is a misdemeanor.
Lambeth is scheduled to be back in court on May 27.
