HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) – A man accused of sexually abusing patients while working as a nurse at a Beaverton clinic has pleaded not guilty.

The Oregonian reports that 37-year-old Alex Woolner appeared before Judge Suzanne Upton during a brief arraignment Wednesday in Washington County.

Woolner is charged with sexual abuse, invasion of personal privacy, computer crime and criminal mistreatment.

He resigned from Kaiser Permanente while under investigation. Two alleged victims have filed a lawsuit against Kaiser, accusing the medical company of negligence.
