SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — Marion County Deputies have arrested a suspect in the June 13 shooting that occurred on Pennsylvania Ave.
The suspect, 46-year-old Shannon Sanders, was arrested after the Marion County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a search warrant.
Sanders is being held at the Marion County Jail on charges of attempted murder, assault, felony possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a firearm and menacing.
Deputies were alerted to the incident after the victim banged on some doors asking for help, saying he’d been shot. He was treated for his injuries. Deputies have not released the victim’s name or an update on his condition.
