Road rage leads to motorcycle crash, arrests

SCAPPOOSE, Ore. (KOIN) –A road rage incident lead to a motorcycle crash on Hwy 30 near Cornelius Pass Rd on Saturday.

Oregon State Police said at least 2 cars and 2 motorcycles were involved in a road rage incident. The vehicles were all reportedly driving recklessly and swerving at each other.

A Pontiac sedan swerved out of its lane and then back, hitting a Harley Davidson, which crashed. The driver and passenger were taken to OHSU with non life-threatening injuries.

The Pontiac and a Camaro sped away from the crash scene heading north, but were eventually stopped by Scappoose Police.

The Camaro driver, Brandon Goodson, was arrested for reckless driving. The Pontiac driver, Justin Willard, was arrested for assault, hit and run injury, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and restraining order violation. Both were also cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.

Oregon State Police are looking for the driver of a red, sport style motorcycle, who may be a victim and witness. Any witnesses are asked to called 503.397.3131.
