HUBBARD, Ore. (KOIN) — A 21-year-old faces rape and sexual abuse charges with a teenage girl he met online.
Jose Villa-Reynaga was arrested August 26 after the 14-year-old told police she was raped and assaulted earlier in the month. They met over social media and agreed to meet in real life, Sgt. William Gill told KOIN 6 News.
Villa-Reynaga allegedly admitted to the sexual contact.
Though police said there are no other known victims, the investigation continues because of the use of social media between the man and the teen.
Villa-Reynaga faces charges of 1st-degree rape, 1st-degree sodomy, 1st-degree sexual abuse, strangulation and contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor — most of them Measure 11 offenses.
