PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The FBI is looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide case that may be staying in the Portland area.
On Thursday, authorities obtained a federal fugitive warrant for Yancy W. Ray, 50, on behalf of the Tacoma Police Department.
Ray has been charged with second-degree murder and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. He is wanted in connection with a weekend death investigation. The suspect has been known to go by the street name “Slim” and also “Yancy Grayson.” Ray is considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI said he has ties to Tacoma and Portland.
Anyone with information on Ray’s location is encouraged to contact authorities at 1-800-222-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to Ray’s arrest.
