PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — On Monday’s airing of Dr. Phil, a 3-part series concludes looking at the JonBenet Ramsey case, and Dr. Phil took some time to speak to KOIN 6 News about the episode.
Dr. Phil interviewed JonBenet Ramsey’s brother Burke, and that is what will be airing on Monday afternoon.
Burke has never spoken publicly until now about his sister’s murder 20 years ago. He was just 9 years old at the time and home with his parents when it happened.
While there was suspicion around the brother, he was never an official suspect in the case. Dr. Phil told KOIN 6 News that in the interview Burke revealed his theory about who actually did it.
“Let me tell you, he is very passionate about this. He is very forthcoming about it. He has a very specific theory of who killed JonBenet and why, and he talks about it openly. And he is in a position to have observed who was in her world at the time. He talks very specifically about who he thinks killed his sister,” Dr. Phil said.
He also said Monday’s episode is the best of the 3-part series. It starts at 3 p.m. on KOIN 6.
