PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Gunfire erupted just before 10 a.m. Tuesday with a teenager reportedly being shot multiple times.
The shooting at 122nd and East Burnside brought a number of Portland police officers, including the Gang Team, to the scene. The victim was found and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. There is no word at this time on the victim’s condition.
A witness told KOIN 6 News the teen was shot 3 times, twice in the leg and once in the buttocks. She said her boss rendered some aid and the victim was quickly taken for treatment.
That area will be closed as investigators comb the scene for clues and information.
