Dorothy Wing eventually pleaded not guilty to 8 charges: one count of murder by abuse, first-degree manslaughter, and six counts of criminal mistreatment. She is serving a 15 year prison sentence.

Roden has a long criminal history for which he spent time in prison. He’s been charged previously with unlawful sexual penetration, DUII, driving while suspended and attempting to elude.

According to the Daily Astorian, the judge in the case addressed Roden at sentencing and said: “Mr. Roden, you are a cruel man,” Clatsop County Circuit Court Judge Paula Brownhill said before reading 28-year old Randy Roden’s sentence Monday afternoon. “You have an excellent legal team who has represented you in the best possible light.”
