FAIRVIEW, Ore. (KOIN) — The death of a person found near the railroad tracks in Fairview is suspicious and the major crimes team from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office has been called to the scene.
A railroad working found the body and called 911.
Another passerby, Previn Dirran and his girlfriend were heading to Marine Drive when they saw the man’s body.
“I went closer to him and saw it was a real dead body,” Dirran said. “There was lots of blood and some type of weapon like a little knife or something like that.”
Authorities arrived at the scene at NE Townsend Way and 223rd around 11 a.m. Thursday.
