SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — A young man was shot to death in Salem Saturday morning in an incident involving a security guard.
Salem police detectives responded to a parking lot in the 3100 block of Ryan Drive SE where 25-year-old Jose Francisco Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.
A security guard, who works for Homefront Security, is being interviewed by investigators. Homefront Security said not all their guards are armed but some have the added certification. They were not able to provide KOIN 6 News with any other information about the security guard’s involvement in the shooting.
