PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A reward of $1,000 is available to the person who can lead police to an arrest in an arson case.
On the morning of December 5, police and firefighters responded to a burning tent on Northwest Irving St., between 6th Ave. and Broadway.
The fire was quickly put out and the person living in the tent wasn’t hurt, although the tent and its contents were badly damaged.
According to investigators, a witness reported seeing someone pour liquid onto the tent and then set it on fire.
The person is described as a man wearing a mask, hat, dark jacket with red sleeves and a large backpack. He was on a skateboard with yellow wheels.
