MEDFORD, Ore. (KOIN) — A man accused of sodomy and kidnapping must take a polygraph test if he secures release on bail of $1 million.
Tanner Ray Sowell allegedly sodomized and held a woman against her will in different places in early October 2014. Specific details of the case have not been released. A probable cause affidavit in the case remains sealed.
Sowell was indicted earlier this month on charges of first-degree sodomy and first-degree kidnapping.
A judge ordered Sowell held on $1 million bail. If he is able to post bail, he has been ordered to take polygraph tests, which he must pay for, to verify he’s complying with his release conditions.
