PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 45-year-old man faces multiple charges after allegedly breaking 9 windows at Portland City Hall and throwing rocks at the windows of the US Courthouse.
Kevin Scott McQueen was taken into custody in the early hours of Sunday after police were flagged down near the US Courthouse at SW 3rd and Salmon. Security officers had already taken McQueen into custody.
Police arrived and took him. They learned during the investigation he broke the windows on the 4th Avenue side of City Hall before security stopped him, officials said.
McQueen faces 1st- and 2nd-degree criminal mischief and is lodged in the Multnomah County Jail.
