CLARK CO., Wash. (KOIN) — Deputies are searching for a man accused of robbing a Hazel Dell bank on Monday.
The robbery happened around 5:40 p.m. at the Peoples Credit Union on the 7000 block of NE Hazel Dell Avenue, Clark County Sheriff’s Office said.
The suspect reportedly gave a bank teller a note demanding money and advised her that he was robbing the bank.
No weapons were involved in the robbery, deputies said.
The suspect reportedly received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. Authorities searched the area but were unsuccessful in locating him.
He is described as a white man between the ages of 25-35, 5’08”-6′ tall with dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a dark baseball cap with a light logo in the center, a long black jacket with a light hood lining, jeans and black tennis shoes.
