Salem man, 21, accused in mother’s murder

SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — A 21-year-old man is accused of killing his mother on Saturday.

Jose Manzur-Roldan was arrested and charged with murder after his mother, Maria Roldan-DeManzur, 45, was found dead in a home on Warbler Ct SE.

Police responded to the home on reports of a disturbance around 2:15 p.m. and found Roldan-DeManzur. Officials say two young children were also in the home at the time of the murder but are safe and with other family members now.
