PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Police have charged six people in connection to the death of a man whose body was found in rural Clark County.
The body of Robert Lee Huggins was found on July 1, 2015. Investigators believe his body was dumped in the field near Northeast 179th and Northeast 15th in Clark County.
Investigators have not publicly how Huggins died, but did confirm the case did have ties to organized crime.
On Wednesday, detectives with the Portland Police Bureau’s Homicide Detail arrested Mark Leroy Dencklau and Earl Devearl Fisher Jr.
Dencklau and Fisher are charged with two counts of criminal conspiracy to commit felony murder and one count each of murder and first-degree kidnapping.
Tiler Evan Pribbernow – who was arrested on March 19 – is facing the same charges as Dencklau and Fisher. Pribbernow was being held on several unrelated felony cases.
Ronald Charles Thompson and Kendra Castle were both booked into jail and charged with hindering prosecution. Their bail has been increased to $100,000 each.
Malachi Watkins, who is being held at the Stafford Creek Corrections Center in Aberdeen, Wash., will face the same charges as Dencklau, Fisher and Pribbernow.
Dencklau, Fisher, Pribbernow, Thompson and Castle will all be arraigned on Thursday.
