PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two men were arrested by the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit after executing a search warrant on Wednesday evening.
Cesar Medina Serna, 49, and Joel Correa Reyes, 45, both appeared in court on Thursday afternoon.

According to Lt. Steve Alexander, a spokesperson with the sheriff’s office, SIU executed a search warrant around 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Deluxe Inn in SE Portland.
Investigators found 3 pounds of methamphetamine, drug packaging and scales, 5 firearms, including one that was stolen, $2,180 in cash and body armor.
Serna is charged with possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, manufacture of a controlled substance and 5 counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is also charged with one count each of first-degree theft and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Reyes is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance.
Deputies said the methamphetamine seized has an approximate street value of between $180,000 and $200,000.
