Suspicious death investigated near Dougan Falls

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The body of a man was found near the Dougan Falls Bridge Saturday morning, the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office said.

A camper reported what investigators have determined is the body of a white adult man over an embankment.

Investigators do not know the cause or manner of his death, but are investigating it as suspicious. Undersheriff Pat Bond said it didn’t look like the body had been there for very long.

Dougan Falls is about 17 miles northeast of Washougal, Washington.
