LAFAYETTE, Ore. (KOIN) — 2 women suffered serious head injuries after being assaulted by a man using nunchucks during a domestic assault in Lafayette.
The attack happened mid-day Saturday, the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies went to the home, 1282 E. 3rd, and found the injured women, who are related to the man arrested.
Kasey David Allan Heermann was booked for attempted murder, 1st-degree assautl and unlawful use of a weapon and is being held in the Yamhill County Jail.
One of the injured women was airlifted to Portland for treatment of severe head and eye injuries. The other woman was treated for a serious head injury at Willamette Valley Medical Center.
The 28-year-old Heermann will be arraigned Monday afternoon. Bail is set at $465,000.
