Body found under Hawthorne Bridge

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man’s body was found underneath the Hawthorne Bridge Friday morning, closing the path along Waterfront Park during the investigation.

The body was found around 7:30 a.m. and police did not comment on the circumstances of the man’s death. He was found at the base of the stairs that leads to the top deck of the bridge.
