PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A suspected drunk driver is in custody after a hit-and-run early Sunday in Southwest Portland that left a 50-year-old man critically hurt.
The pedestrian was hit at SW 11th and Market just before 6 a.m., Portland police said. The driver of a Ford Mustang sped off but was spotted not far away.
Officers intercepted the Mustang, which spun and stalled at SW 19th and West Burnside.
The injured man’s name has not been released.
